Introduction
This privacy policy governs your use of the Real Piano Keyboard, Real Ear Training and Real Music Dictation (“the applications”) software applications for mobile devices and the website realpianokeyboard.com (“the website”), created by Asociatia Melodic Art.
It serves to give you confidence about our privacy protection measures and to let you know that we take your personal privacy very seriously. Specifically, this policy exists to inform you about what information we may collect from our users, what we do not and never will collect, the measures we take to safeguard the information we collect, the reasons we collect such information, and the legal rights you have in relation to this information, such as opting out of collection.
User Provided Information
The Application obtains the information you provide when you download and register an account in the Application. You can also register using the Website. Registration with us is optional. However, please keep in mind that you may not be able to use some of the features offered by the Application unless you register with us.
When you register with us, you provide an email address and password, first and last name and country of residence, and information you provide us when you contact us for help.
Automatically Collected Information
We may collect information from our users, such as usage statistics, to help us improve our products and services. These statistics do not include any personal information or sensitive data. The Application does not collect information about the location of your mobile device.
Third-party services and data we process
- Website analytics. realpianokeyboard.com uses Google Analytics to measure aggregate, anonymised usage of the website. This is enabled through cookies (see “Cookies” below).
- Crash and diagnostic reports. The applications use Google Firebase Crashlytics to collect anonymous crash logs and basic device/diagnostic information, which helps us identify and fix problems.
- In-app purchases. Optional purchases — such as the one-time Premium unlock in Real Piano Keyboard — are processed by Google Play Billing. Payments are handled entirely by Google; we do not receive or store your payment-card details.
- Recordings stay on your device. Any recordings you create in Real Piano Keyboard are stored locally on your device. They are not uploaded to us or shared with anyone unless you choose to export or share them yourself.
What are my opt-out rights?
Opt-out of all information collection by uninstalling the Application: You can stop all collection of information by the Application easily by uninstalling the Application. You may use the standard uninstall processes as may be available as part of your mobile device or via the mobile application marketplace or network.
Data Retention Policy, Managing Your Information
We will retain User Provided data for as long as you use the Application or Website and for a reasonable time thereafter. If you’d like us to delete User Provided Data that you have provided via the Application, please contact us at florin.melodicart@gmail.com and we will respond in a reasonable time. Please note that some or all of the User Provided Data may be required in order for the Application to function properly.
Policy changes
From time to time, we may make changes to this privacy policy, which will be posted on the Website and relevant communications channels. You are advised to check the Website regularly to view our most recent privacy policy.
Cookies
We use cookies on our website. Some of them are essential for the operation of the site, while others help us to improve this site and the user experience (tracking cookies, including Google Analytics). You can decide for yourself whether you want to allow cookies or not. Please note that if you reject them, you may not be able to use all the functionalities of the site.
